STORYLINE:
Premise: Kim Hye-jin, once a beautiful girl from a wealthy family, faces a reversal of fortunes. Her family’s publishing company goes bankrupt, and she transforms from a picture-perfect child into an adult with freckles and curly hair. On the other hand, Ji Sung-joon, an unattractive boy with low self-esteem, grows up to be a handsome and successful editor. Plot: As adults, Hye-jin and Sung-joon cross paths again. However, Sung-joon fails to recognize her. Ashamed to reveal her true identity, Hye-jin asks her attractive best friend, Ha-ri, to take her place. The twist? Hye-jin ends up working at The Most magazine publishing office, where Sung-joon is the deputy chief editor. He mistreats her, unaware that she was his childhood friend. Amidst workplace challenges, Hye-jin finds an unexpected friend in Shin-hyuk, who falls for her. As Sung-joon gets to know Hye-jin better, he realizes there’s more to her than meets the eye.
