STORYLINE:
In the Korean drama "Mother" (2018), Kang Soo-jin, a temporary elementary school teacher, becomes entangled in the life of her student, Kim Hye-na. Witnessing the physical and emotional abuse Hye-na endures at home from her neglectful mother and abusive boyfriend, Soo-jin feels compelled to act.
